6 Side Hustle Ideas Online For Bloggers

As a blogger, you know that making money isn’t always easy. The competition is fierce and it can be hard to stand out from the crowd. But did you know that you can make some extra cash on the side by doing other things? In this blog post, we will discuss six side hustles that bloggers can do to make some extra money and grow their businesses.

Side Hustle Ideas Online

1. Sell e-Books

If you’re a great writer and you’ve got a lot of knowledge to share, then writing an e-book could be a great way to make some extra cash. You can sell your e-book on your blog or on sites like Amazon.

Talking about Amazon, they have a program called KDP where you can earn up to 70% royalties on your e-books, no-content, and low-content books (planners, coloring books, notebooks, etc.)

Although I haven’t done this myself, I know a few bloggers who have and they say it’s a great way to make some extra cash, especially when you just started out and your blog isn’t making much money yet.

2. Offer Consulting Services or Blog Managing Services

If you’re an expert in your field, then you could offer consulting services to businesses or individuals who need help with specific problems. You can offer your services through your blog or by setting up a website just to promote your services.

Your services can be anything from social media management to SEO consultation to email marketing. Basically, anything that you’re good at and that businesses need help with.

Another option is to offer blog managing services. This is similar to consulting services, but in this case, you would manage the blog for them. This could involve content planning, editing, formatting posts, images, etc. Again, this is something that businesses need help with but don’t always have the time to do themselves. As a blog manager, you would help businesses with their blogging efforts, which could be a great way to make some extra money.

There are a lot of businesses and entrepreneurs who are willing to pay for these services, so if you’re good at them, then this could be a great way to make some extra cash.

3. Sell Online Courses

If you’ve got the expertise that you want to share, then selling online courses could be a great way to make money from your blog. You can create and sell courses on sites like Udemy or Teachable, or you can sell them directly from your own website (then you’ll need several paid plugins to make this happen, but it’s still doable).

Creating an online course takes a lot of work, but it can be a great way to make passive money from your blog because you can sell it over and over again. And, once you’ve created the course, you don’t have to do much else except promote it.

The great thing about selling courses is that once you create them, they can be sold over and over again. So, you can make money while you sleep! Plus, if you’re good at promoting your courses, then you can make a lot of money from them. I know several bloggers who make over $100,000/year from selling courses.

Of course, the downside is that it takes a lot of time and effort to create a quality course. But, if you’re willing to put in the work, then it can be a great way to make some extra cash.

4. Sell Physical Products

If you’re crafty or have a unique product that you want to sell, then selling physical products could be a great way to make money from your blog. You can sell products on your blog or on sites like Etsy or eBay. You don’t even need a brick-and-mortar store anymore.

The downside is that it takes a lot of time and effort to create and market physical products. But, if you’re willing to put in the work, then it can be a great way to make some extra cash.

5. Offer Affiliate Marketing Services

If you’re good at marketing and promoting products, then you could offer affiliate marketing services to businesses that want help promoting their products. You can find affiliate programs to join on sites like ShareASale or Commission Junction.

Each network will have its own rules and requirements, but generally, you’ll be paid a commission for each sale that you generate. So, if you’re good at promoting products, then this could be a great way to make some extra cash.

Affiliate marketing is actually one of my main sources of income from my blog. I promote products that I use and love, and I get paid a commission for each sale that I generate. It’s a great way to make money, and it doesn’t require a lot of work on your part.

6. Provide Paid Reviews

You can also provide paid reviews on your blog. This involves reviewing products or services and then writing about them on your blog. Companies will sometimes pay for reviews in order to get exposure for their products or services or to improve their search engine ranking.

The downside is that you need to be careful about which companies you work with because some companies will try to get you to write a positive review even if the product is bad. So, you need to be honest in your reviews and only work with companies that you trust.

When it comes to paid reviews, it’s important to be honest in your assessment of the product or service. Don’t be afraid to give a negative review—or even say no to a company that you don’t trust. Make sure you only work with companies that you trust and that are upfront about their affiliate program. Your readers can easily spot a fake review, so don’t risk your reputation by writing one.

Final Thoughts

It takes time for your blog to start making money, but there are a number of ways that you can make money from your blog once it’s established. These are just a few ideas, but there are many more ways to make money from your blog.
